Many of Chris’s structures are raw and elemental looking, like this one, called Schist Strata, while others, like Cave, seem much more delicate:

Animal robots

Round-Up Thursday!
Ann P Smith creates wonderful robot animals from broken electronics and machinery parts. Her work is sold in stores and galleries all over the country. I can see why!

She is also a highly skilled illustrator, again using animals in many of her drawings. This is her “hareplane”!

How to carve your own stamps

You’ll find complete instructions for learning to carve your own stamps here. Since all I’ve even done in the past is cut up foam and mount it on a foamcore block, I’m excited to try this! It looks like you can make stamps with pretty good detail using these methods.
