Photos chosen for “Life Images” magazine

Making a rope rug

All together now! What’s our motto here? “Never throw anything out!”

Use recycled magazines to make boxes

Our last snowstorm

Make Art Monday!
We had two major snowstorms hit us this past week, so of course I had to run outside a start snapping pictures. Not real smart with a digital camera, but it turned out ok…I managed to get outside before the sleet started! Here are my two favorite shots:

The Library - the best mixed media art books

I’ve assembled a list of the books that I think are the best of the best in several different categories, including altered books, creativity, collage, and digital art!  The Library can also be accessed anytime through a permanent link in my blogroll.

A calendar from a cookie sheet…how fun is this?

Baking Tin Calendar by Sue McGettigan

In the long-standing tradition around here of not throwing out anything, let me caution you to keep hold of your worn out, stained cookie sheets! You can make an adorable calendar from them, using magnets and left over scraps of paper, etc. Make a set of numbers, the letters to […]
