Apple party on Saturday
Our young adult fellowship group had the 3rd annual “apple picking, baking, and eating until your eyes glaze over and roll back in your head” party on Saturday! When I say young adult, I realize that many people think of teens, but we use that term for the post-high school crowd instead. In fact, many of my YA folks are the leaders of the youth group, which is what we call our teens. And I am the psycho in charge of the young adults. Scary, huh?
Clear? Youth group = teens and Young adults = 18+
We’ve got several married couples with babies, and even more on the way, so apple picking this year was a really exciting prospect! So was eating the apple pies, apple dumplings, and icecream afterwards (”But Cyndi, we have to have apple dumplings!”).
Quite a few more people showed up at the house to help with the eating, but only a few of us were actually able to go out to the orchard and do the hunter-gatherer thing.
