Bead Journal Project - October’s Hunter’s Moon

Hunter’s Moon

Even more warm browns and golds! I spent the month of November reflecting on the month that had just passed and creating Hunter’s Moon. There isn’t really any hunting symbolism that really appealed to me to bead, so I decided upon the pawprints following a trail…or are they creating one?

You can find links to more of the Bead Journal Project’s participants on Robin Atkin’s blog.

You can also click on “Bead Journal Project” under “categories” in the right-hand sidebar (of my blog, that is!) to see the past four months’ beaded journal pages.

It is *exquisite*. Sometimes simplicity can say the very most. I loved the colors and the design. Beautiful.

    Hi Cyndi,
I love your fabric and the way the beaded paw prints dance around your page. What a celebration!

This page is so very lovely. I especially love those paw prints . . .

Thank you, Karen and Kathy! The little square beads that make up the “toes” have some kind of multi-colored iridescent finish. They really do make it look like the prints are twinkling ;-)

Neat pawprints. Every full moon we get my german shothair pointer jumps the fence at night and does her own path making! Nice page.

Thanks Timaree! You can take the dog out of the wild, but you just can’t take the wild out of the dog, huh? :-)
