Call for entries: Fiberart for a Cause, Collage Mania II
Virginia A Spiegel is hosting a second round of Collage Mania! Last year, she and her partner in the venture, Karen Stiehl Osborn, were thrilled to be able to raise a nice chunk of change to benefit the American Cancer Society during their one-day auction. If you’d like to get in on the action this year, either to donate work and/or to participate in the auction, here’s the info.
The basics:
All materials are acceptable, but collages should contain some fiber (paper, fabric, or other fibrous material). There are no restrictions on content, but collages must be clean and competently constructed; jpegs must be of the correct size and useable on the web.
Collages may be any size, but they must be mounted on 10″h x 8″w Bristol or mat board. Size the collage itself to match your pricing scheme as all collages will be offered for a $40 donation to the ACS through Fiberart For A Cause.
Submissions due by April 1, 2008
Auction will be May 5, 2008
