Call for entries: “Your Designs Rock”
Rings and Things is sponsoring their annual “Your Designs Rock” contest, and all the important info is available on their website. Get started thinking about it now, even though the entry form won’t be available until February 1. Entries can be made for the entire month of February, and this contest is really worth entering! I should know…I won an honorable mention in the “alternative materials” category, and the prize was a nice sized gift certificate to R&T products…which I buy anyway, so that was really nice!
* Entries for the 2008 contest will be accepted February 1-29, 2008. Winners will be announced the first week of May.
* Don’t wait — it’s never too early to start working on a new handmade design to enter. And remember, entries don’t have to be jewelry. They can be anything!
* 2008 Update: Our honorable-mention prizes have increased to $75 gift certificates! Our grand prize will remain a $750 gift certificate and first-place winners will continue to receive $250 gift certificates.

Thanks, Lizbeth! It was very challenging to make with the antique piano ivories…they are quite brittle :-)
