Chlorophyll prints

The most astoundingly beautiful prints have been made by Binh Danh, using real leaves. You can read about his background and see more of these beautiful prints.
There is also a site called Grand Illusions, which gives directions for one way to create these prints yourself.

hmmm.. interesting. my kids have on their christmas wish list two camera kits — one to make with plastic parts and the other from paper! the description is somewhat similar to the ones found in the Grand Illusions site. now i’m eager to get them and try. maybe even do one on a leaf!

Hey why not? I loved getting those types of “build-it” kits when I was a kid. Nothing as sophisticated as Heath Kits with all the electronics, but still some pretty fun stuff…including a pin-hole camera!
