I will admit, trying to claim that the word “dye” makes this an appropriate Halloweeny post is really stretching it! But this tutorial is really good…and who knows? Maybe you really want to dye something for your costume?

There’s a great article in Knitty (little purls of wisdom) on how to dye your own yarn. Julie Theaker takes us through several techniques and has tons of great pictures to illustrate the process. Who wouldn’t want to try this?
