Dani’s sophomore year is finished
This year was full of stone carving and printmaking, illustration, art history…and advanced calculus. My little art student has a very strong math/engineering bend, and she’s decided to declare a math minor. She’s only a few courses away from being able to be a double major, but there are too many art courses left that she wants to take. She entered school knowing that she was going to specialize in drawing. Then it expanded to printmaking. Then she fell in love with sculpture. She’s always loved photography and video. This summer she’s taking steel welding and wants to become more proficient with the sewing machine. And the list goes on.
It’s going to be a busy summer!

Congratulations to the both of you!
You must be so proud of Dani. She sounds like a wonderful girl.
I got tired just reading all that she has planned.
I remember having energy. Barely!
