Daylight Fades
Make Art Monday
After giving a piece of handmade paper a batik treatment, I scanned it so that it could be used in my digital work. The two main images in this piece, “Daylight Fades”, are fragments from pictures that I took while vacationing in western New York. I’ve used both the rusted-out truck and the waterlily several times before, but now I finally feel like I’ve discovered what they were really meant for!
I’ll be sharing the step-by-step process for creating the easy batiked papers on the first Technique Tuesday of the new year :-)
