Don’t wait for the muse

This is the provocative title of Kathy Sierra’s blog post that caught my eye recently. I highly recommend Kathy’s blog to you all…it’s a techie blog, with more to say to artists than many many of the arts blogs I read. Will every post enchant you? No. Some will even make you mad. This post may make you mad, but I really don’t care. There’s a great list of creativity sites for those times when you’re legitimately stuck. You should take a look at it even if her topic annoys you.
I may be one of the few artists in the world who doesn’t believe that I have a “muse”, but apparently you shouldn’t sit around waiting for yours even if you do believe you have one!
Ray Bradbury said that life is “trying things to see if they work.”
Smart man!
