Furoshiki

by Cyndi on December 20th, 2006

Do you have a fabric-lover on your gift list this year? You might want to consider wrapping their gifts in a traditional Japanese furoshiki.

Furoshiki is a wrapping cloth, typically used to transport gifts. They are a perfect stand-in for commercial wrapping paper, especially if you are environmentally conscious or if your giftee likes to sew.
