Kaleidoscope quilt
I finished the mixed media beaded quilt that began as a class that I took with Nancy Eha back in August. The beaded medallion is so distinctive that it took me awhile to figure out how to finish the piece off. You can learn how to make this great medallion from Nancy’s book Bead Creative Art Quilts.

It is beautiful, isn’t it? I’m not really satisfied with how I embellished the rest of the quilt, but I do love that medallion ;-)

Thank you Lone Beader! I don’t think the colors came out quite right in the picture…they’re a bit washed out, without quite as much contrast between the darkest and lightest of the colors. But for better or for worse, it’s done now :-)
