Oh that was a treat! Thanks for sharing your trip with us. The scenes of the towns and this art are just wonderful. Are you taking shots of windows and doors for future use? They seem to be quite usable and popular.

Yes and no on the doors, Timaree! I’m sure that I will use some of them in projects in the future, but I have been a collector of door and window imagery for a long time…I like them for their own sake :-)

Your vid and stills do a great job of showing how collaborative the creative process is in Murano. Was this a family?

Isn’t it amazing! No gloves. Guy darts in and shoots the thing with flames. No one gets burned. Most of the time!
This is a creative team, rather than a family. They’ve worked together a lot, according to our guide.

took the tour bought an item was supposed to be signed and dated as in contract neither signed nor dated - after 3 months no satisfaction from murano. their attitude stinks they got your money no refunds no complaints allowed

That’s a terrible shame, Mark. I hope you used a credit card so you could do a chargeback on the sale. We also bought a piece and had it shipped home. No problems at all. There are several factories, so I don’t know which you were dealing with.
