Prints and artist books
The American Print Alliance has done a survey of museums and universities that have contemporary collections of prints, artist books, and other works on paper. They have compiled a list of all the contact information for these collections. Many have changing shows of selected works from the collection, as well as opportunities to be able to study the works.
Besides being collections that are worth going to see, these are also institutions that may be interested in purchasing works, so keep that in mind if you create works on paper with a view towards sales.
