Small art quilts…with fish!
Make Art Monday!
Curly, Moe, Larry, and Shad…a set of four small art quilts that I made after we took a trip to the Smithsonian museums this past spring. I took lots of pictures of the dead stuff. I just don’t know why it fascinates me so much…I mean, it really sounds morbid, doesn’t it? Dozens of pictures of fossilized fish and other creatures.
But even before I got home, I knew what I was going to do with some of them. I hate to admit it, am embarassed kinda, but we just love the Three Stooges. Mike, Dani, Nate and I are all Stooges fans. We can all sing the B-A-Bay song, do the Curly shuffle, and bop each other on the heads without injury. How sad is that?
