The Mary Cassatt experiment
Make Art Monday!
Ever since I got my updated Photoshop CS3 software last month, I’ve been wanting to try out the newest features, and one that attracted me almost immediately was “Match Color.” I decided to try it out on a favorite image of my daughter, Dani, when she was young.Mary Cassatt is one of my most favorite painters of all times. I’m sure it has as much to do with her subject matter as it does with her style. Since she featured children so prominently in many of her paintings, I decided to adopt her palette for Dani’s new picture.

Oh, I can’t wait to see how you did this. We’re working on a Christmas picture frame for Grams and I have a photo I want to put in it that would be perfect for the technique.
